The dumpster at 202 is for all of 202, 204 and 206. I realize there are tenants at 204 and 206 who also use street side pickup with their bins. If you do use the dumpster there are a few rules to follow. We ALL have to fit our trash into this 4 yd dumpster and on good weeks it is tight. On bad weeks it can go over and could require an extra pickup which is expensive. We want to avoid that. Yes, the landlord pays for the extra pickup initially but that cost ultimately gets passed on to you so you’d be wise to be considerate of the community when using the dumpster.
The dumpster is for bagged trash. Household trash. Not bicycles, sofas, old TVs, mattresses, cushions, boxes, things from your job, or any other large non-trash item. All large items must be taken to the grass strip in the front by the mailboxes (not blocking the mailboxes) and it will magically disappear. To be extra clear, large items are not to be laid in the grass around the dumpster but physically taken out by the street. Please abide by this for the sake of everyone.
