Summary of qualifications –
Work Experience:
I have been a carpenter/remodeler for most of my working life with experience in framing (wood & metal), trim, form work, cabinetry, countertops, stairs, windows, doors, roofing, siding, aluminum work, drywall (hang, finish, texture), decks, plumbing, electrical, tile, laminate, etc. I have built homes ranging from 1100 sq ft to 13,000 sq ft. on the residential side as well as many commercial projects in and around the Orlando, FL area including the building of EPCOT Center, high-rise hotels, water parks, power plants, baseball stadiums, industrial buildings, hospitals, jails, schools and various municipal buildings as a journeyman union and non-union commercial carpenter. I spent a 15 year period in SWFL focused primarily on insurance restoration work performing and supervising the build back portions of insurance claims and have restored many homes and businesses from Port Charlotte to Naples. I have many years of experience in the field and also have experience as a superintendent and project manager. For the last 6 years continuously (and 3 additional years prior), I have been working for (name available on request), a 1400 unit, 230 acre manufactured home community, in maintenance, performing repairs, maintenance and remodeling to their community buildings, on-site water and sewer, lighting as well as general maintenance. I am also involved in maintaining, managing and the periodic remodeling of 22 apartment units in Ft Myers for a private investor. I have owned my own improvement/remodeling company in NY State specializing in roofing, siding and replacement windows where I performed all sales, estimating, project management, administrative duties as well as field work. I have experience using Xactimate, MSB, Means and Craftsman estimating platforms. I own a work van and all tools necessary to my work.
