This was the largest project of my career so far…

I became a journeyman carpenter in Carpenter’s L.U. 1765 in Orlando, FL and found myself working on the EPCOT project. I worked on quite a few projects there including The American Adventure (Darin & Armstrong), Communicore East (Acousti), Canada (Pepper), UK (Pepper), Horizons (Buena Vista Construction) and Monorail track construction (M&K Construction) between Magic Kingdom and EPCOT. At the time it was the largest non-government construction project in the world. Five thousand of us rode into that job everyday on old school buses. It was one of the most memorable experiences in my career and I am glad I had the opportunity to be part of it.
