About

Q: So Who Is Kevin Hicks?

A: I’ve been in the building trades for over 40 years. As a carpenter for over four decades, I’ve done residential, commercial, remodeling, rennovation, improvement, repair, restoration and everything in between. But carpentry is just a small part of what I do. Along with that are all the trades necesarry to complete a remodeling or insurance restoration job such as drywall, electrical, plumbing, cabinetry, painting, trim, doors and windows, roofing, siding, etc. So…carpentry, in the 21st century and with respect to remodeling covers a very wide range of skills. I’ve worked on large jobs like the building of EPCOT Center, water parks, high-rise hotels, power plants, schools and the construction of many houses from 1100 to 13,000 sf to very small jobs like replacing a flapper in someone’s toilet. Each one a custom, one-of-a-kind event. These days, I work a 9-5 in the maintenance department of a large manufactured home community. See my resume here

Q: What Else Do You Do?

A: I also have experience in and am currently engaged in restoration contracting, project management, property management, technology, estimating and business systems.

Q: If I Want To Contact You, What Is The Process?

A: You can send me a message through the “Contact” link on this website or call, text or email me if you’ve gotten one of my cards. I don’t post my phone number on the internet due to spammers (unfortunately) but I can assure you I will get your message from the “Contact” link. I prefer messages to phone calls. It’s just more convienient for me.

Q: If You’re Not Available To Do My Job Should I Just Call Someone Else?

A: Not necessarily. I have lived in the area for over 25 years and I know many people in the business. Chances are, I may know someone I can refer you to.
